After reflecting on the past few months, I've realized how important it is to live with intention and purpose! Living with purpose can help you set goals, reflect, and inspire your mind. Living intentionally can also produce results and provide a sense of accomplishment. But how can we live more intentionally? Most importantly, how can we live more intentionally for God? Here are some personal tips that helped me with my journey!

1. List Your Goals
Listing your goals can help you acknowledge them and bring them to life! Before you list your goals, ask yourself this: What are you trying to accomplish? More personal time with God? To be more organized? Asking yourself these questions before you write them down can help with reflection! For example, for the past couple of months, I knew I wanted to launch my ministry and step into the calling God has called me to do. But I wasn't sure where to start! I knew that if I was going to do this, I needed to ask myself, What am I trying to accomplish? The moment I had an answer, I knew what goals I needed to set for myself to make it happen. Once I had my goals, I felt like I had an idea of where I was going with my new project!
2. Set Yourself on a Schedule
1 Corinthians 14:40 states, "But all things should be done decently and in order." How can we do things in an organized fashion without a proper schedule? Making a schedule for yourself allows accountability and sets you up for a game plan. For example, as I began to emerge myself into the busy adult world, I slowly started spending less time with God. I started to notice that I didn't have the time, like I once did, to leisurely spend time with the Father when I had fewer responsibilities. That's when I realized I needed to start making time for him! So at least four times a week, I wake up an hour before my normal schedule just to spend time with God, like I once did! When I started this journey, I felt so refreshed and at peace, and I am making it a priority to make this a habit in my routine. So whatever your goals are, make sure you implement a schedule that will help you achieve them!
3. Take All of Your Goals and Plans to God
One of the many lessons I've learned in life is that your plans do not always match up with God's plan! Let's be honest: if we want to live a more intentional and goal-oriented life for God, how can we do this without consulting with him? I've had so many moments where I was so driven by what I thought God wanted for me. I was the kind of girl who was so confident in the plans I "thought" he wanted for me. My confidence went unchecked, and I found out the hard way! If I had simply taken the time to ask God, "Is this what you want me to do?" I would have been saved from the trouble of heartbreak and discouragement. So take it from me: it is crucial that you take your dreams, plans, and goals to God! He is our father, creator, and refuge. At the end of the day, he knows what's best for us. And if you don't get a yes from him, remember that his no is a blessing as well!
I hope these tips will encourage you and help you with your journey. Living more intentionally will produce results that will ultimately support your long-term goals! Remember to take all things to God, reflect, and wait for confirmation before you hit the ground running! Waiting for confirmation from God will give you the direction you need.
